Sinistarr
Sinistarr is not a record label but actually the stage name of an acclaimed drum and bass artist, Jeremy Howard. Having emerged on the scene in 2007, his reputation has grown to establish Sinistarr as a key figure in the drum and bass genre.
Known for his experimental and eclectic style, he blurs the boundaries between jungle, footwork, drumfunk and atmospheric drum and bass. His musical talent has led to releases spread across an array of celebrated record labels such as Metalheadz, Exit Records, and Hospital Records.
One of Sinistarr's most prominent releases was "Naine Rouge" released jointly on the legendary labels of Hospital Records and Med School. His work has also found appeal outside the drum and bass community with his productions aired on BBC Radio 1, RinseFM, and NPR.
Sinistarr, a Detroit native, significantly stands out as an ambassador of the city’s rich music history, integrating sounds and production styles from techno to Motown into his own unique tracks. Through his career, he's consistently pushed boundaries, effortlessly merging different tonal landscapes into his own signature sound, gaining his work recognition within both the underground scene and the broader electronic music world.
