Hydro is a veteran drum and bass producer and DJ whose deep, tech-driven sound has become a staple of the underground. Active since the early 2000s, he has released on some of the genre’s most respected labels including Metalheadz, Dispatch Recordings, Commercial Suicide, and Symmetry Recordings. Known for his dark atmospherics, razor-sharp drums and intricate collaborations, Hydro has worked with the likes of DLR, Break, War, and Villem, consistently pushing sonic boundaries. His productions balance mood and weight, often fusing cinematic textures with heavyweight basslines. In addition to solo work, Hydro has featured on BBC Radio 1’s Drum and Bass Show and is a frequent contributor to the genre’s deeper, more experimental end.
