There are three artists under this name:
1) A Turkish experimental rock duo, founded in Istanbul in 2013. Starting out as a solo project, the band soon evolved into a trio, incorporating elements from black metal, shoegaze, grindcore and noise. The band released a string of EPs ("Systematic Decline", "Eschatology", "Axiom", "Günahkar") and tracks digitally, before compiling them under a self-titled album. The band entered hiatus shortly the release of their second album, Evolving into Bacteria.
In 2017, the band, now a duo, released a new demo named "Finite State Dreams" and reinvented itself as an avant-garde rock band with elements indebted to dub, dream pop, post-punk, industrial music, post-rock and ambient. Also releasing the Joy Division-influenced single "Solar Sailing", the band released its new album, Concomitance, in early 2018.
One of the band members also releases vaporwave-indebted ambient music under the title >//crevasse。光.
2) A short-lived electronic music collaboration between Sami Khoury, Tom Butcher, and Wes Pearson.
"Telemetry", the 9 minute audio journey of downtempo, breakbeat, and analog synth soundscapes, was released on the 1994 compilation album "Interstellar Outback" on ROM HyperMedia to commemorate the 3-day outdoor music event of the same name. Two other 12" Induction releases were made on Orbitrecords, one in 1994 ("Attempt"/"Electrostatic") and 1995 ("Halodust"/"106(remix)").
Tom Butcher has also produced under the aliases .x09, Betamax, Codebase, and under the group alias Heatsync.
3) A symphonic power metal band from Czechia.
