Their collaboration began after meeting at a bar in Manchester and discovering a shared passion for music, which they further explored at the Parklife festival. This mutual interest led them to Pirate Studios, where Jev taught Aisling to DJ, culminating in the formation of PRFCT Mandem.

Their music blends elements of dubstep and grime, resulting in high-energy, genre-blurring drum and bass tracks. They gained initial recognition through performances on platforms like Bloc2Bloc and secured releases with labels such as Korsakov Music. Their debut EP, Formation, released in June 2020, showcased their intense bass explorations and solidified their presence in the drum and bass scene.
