As Low Down Deep approach the end of 2021, they’ve been spending time reflecting on the labels history and the progression it’s made. 15 years of operation deserves a big celebration and they’re doing that in the form of a 15 Years of Low Down Deep compilation album!
Iconic ReleasesLooking back over the years, there have been some seriously iconic releases on the label. This 15 Years of Low Down Deep compilation album provides fresh spins on some of the imprints classics, their most in demand dubplates, plus a few exclusive new tunes that you’ve never heard before…
The long-awaited arrival of Serum & Voltage’s ‘Cricket Bat VIP’ graces this compilation, plus Turno’s monumental remix of Majistrates banger ‘Bombaclart’.
The late, great, Dominator’s legacy continues to shine with ‘Outta Control’. There’s so much to celebrate about this LP and Low Down Deeps journey as a label.
Label owner Logan D said of one of the labels most iconic releases; “Bombaclart has consistently stayed in my DJ sets since 2011. Even after 10 years, I still use it to perform a signature mix with Wilkinson & Becky Hill’s Afterglow. Turno’s fresh take on this classic is definitely going to be a big one for 2021 and beyond!”
Showcasing New TalentNot only does the 15 Years of Low Down Deep compilation celebrate influential tracks defining their legacy as a label, but they’re also using it as a platform to showcase the newer talents who are driving the label forward into 2022 and causing a stir in the wider D&B scene. These artists include Filthy Habits, who recently released their debut album on the label, Magenta, Jeopardize, Skore and Infrared.
