The artist’s passing was met with a deep, nostalgic realisation at just how far his influence as a DJ, producer and mentor extends. That’s not to mention everyone’s ongoing love of his dry Northern wit and no-nonsense wisdom. Five years on, his Soul:r imprint and influence on the community still stays strong.
