Chase & Status have unveiled the video to their latest single ‘When It Rains’ featuring vocalist BackRoad Gee.

Starring actor Jack McMullen, who most famously starred alongside British acting royalty Sean Bean & Stephen Graham in the gritty BBC TV drama ‘Time’, the video tells the story of a man who’s day goes from bad to worse.

It’s a visual representation of the track title & the old proverb ‘When it rains it pours’.

‘When It Rains’ is the first new music from Chase & Status since 2020’s ‘Engage’ which sampled legendary Jamaican dancehall artist Shabba Ranks & was included in their RTRN II FABRIC mix.

In a recent post on their social media pages Chase & Status give some background on the collaboration with BackRoad Gee.

‘When It Rains’ was originally penned as a hip hop track… Clearly some creative magic happened in the studio to transform it into a full on drum & bass monster!
