It’s been a year since Fabio & Grooverider along with The Outlook Orchestra honored the history of drum and bass at London’s Southbank Centre. Following its sell out success, the show was enjoyed as sets during 2022s festival season at both Boomtown and Giles Peterson’s We Out Here Festival. This January Fabio & Grooverider & The Outlook Orchestra returns to London for a brand new celebration of Jungle and Drum and Bass.

With 30+ years in the game as Fabio & Grooverider, the duo have helped to shape the genre that we know today. From its broken beat origins, through to jungle and then to the multi-faceted subgenres that reside within d&b today, they’ve been there through it all. This appreciation and understanding of the scene means the show will explore jump up, liquid, technical, minimal and half-time in a live setting which is completely different to the norm.

“Orchestra shows work well with D&B because in so many ways D&B is very emotional” begin Fabio and Grooverider. “And the bass helps! Also we have so many sing-along anthems. We decided to do the show as a celebration, a celebration of all the amazing tunes and artists that have shaped and continue to shape the scene that we were instrumental in creating.”

After each Southbank show Fabio and Grooverider will be throwing two mammoth afterparties. Friday’s motive will be held at the iconic Ministry of Sound. The duo have curated an insane line-up brimming with the most influential artists from the orchestral show’s score including; Dillinja, Benny L, DJ Rap, Ray Keith, DJ SS, Charlotte Devaney and many moreWhile Saturday’s after party will be a special extended set from Fabio & Grooverider with support form Charlotte Devaney and Voice MC at The Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Forum.
