Break, one of our favourite drum & bass producers, was interviewed on the latest episode of the Last Week Liquid Podcast.

Podcast host Millstreet delves into a range of topics during the interview with Break including; his background in playing piano & drums, how D&B is a melting pot for other genres, his first steps into music production & sampling, his first release on Eastside Recordings, his Degrees Of Freedom multi genre side project, running his Symmetry label, why he launched Triii Audio with Total Science, tips for people sending demos to labels, and why he’s not on social media.

Watch The Interview Mastering By Break

Towards the end of the interview Break addresses some of the common mistakes he’s sees in his role as a mastering engineer. Mainly people adding too much or too little bass to their tracks.

Break is one of the most in demand mastering engineers in the drum & bass genre and we were pleased to have had him master some of the recent releases on our record label, including Beautiful Lie by Oversight & our forthcoming Kleu Remix EP!
