From his humble beginnings born and brought up in Brixton, he talks of Brixton’s significance in the early days of the Acid House, youth culture, and how he and his DJ partner for over 30 years Grooverider grabbed the sliding door moment with both hands that got them into the main room at the now legendary event Rage.
As one of the longest standing DJ’s in the Jungle / DnB scene, stop for a moment to consider the wealth of knowledge and history behind this individual who from playing Acid House in Brixton in 1987 has weathered this time gracefully to jointly host a 40+ piece orchestra playing Jungle and Drum and Bass… That is a a unique achievement and this is a unique interview!
