Australian DJ and producer PhaseOne, known for his energetic fusion of bass and metal music, has taken a bold step in his mission to champion the genre-blending sounds, announcing the launch of his own record label, Sounds Of Mayhem Recordings.

Sharing its name with his mix series Sounds Of Mayhem Recordings is poised to become a hub for the intersection of bass and metal music, with a clear vision to release forward-thinking tracks that ignite a raging fire within listeners. Embracing the themes of freedom, anarchy, and of course fun, the label embodies the essence of PhaseOne’s own artistic project. Sound Of Mayhem is promising to create a sonic experience that resonates with fans from all corners of the heavier music landscape.

The imprint’s exhilarating journey, is set start with its debut release on June 30 with an explosive 8-track compilation, meticulously curated by PhaseOne himself. Aptly titled ‘Sounds Of Mayhem: The Uprising,’ this compilation features a lineup of renowned heavyweights and rising stars, ready to ignite musical mayhem. Among the tracks, listeners can expect a signature piece from the label boss himself, showcasing PhaseOne’s exceptional talent and innovative sound. The compilation also features riotous appearances from acclaimed artists Akeos & Lusumi, Bainbridge & High Zombie, JEANIE & Dino Shadix, DVEight, and AVEON. Not stopping there, the compilation introduces up-and-comers YUSSI & Neotek, delivering a tantalizing drum and bass cut. Rounding off the thrilling lineup is a killer four-way collaboration courtesy of Fransis Derelle, CRaymak, Tea Time, and Frank Zummo (of Sum 41 fame).

Sounds Of Mayhem Recordings is set to elevate the boundaries of bass and metal to new heights. With PhaseOne at the helm, this label promises to redefine the rocktronic genre and provide a platform for artists pushing the limits of sound.

PhaseOne speaks on the label launch:

“Launching my own record label is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time now, so I’m overjoyed to present Sounds Of Mayhem Recordings. I’ve always loved discovering new music and artists, so unearthing and developing new talent not only makes sense for me, but is also what I’m deeply passionate about. The word ‘mayhem’ means a lot to me – it represents the chaos that both metal and bass music encompass, in the sense that the listener can express themselves freely and let loose a little. This is especially true in a live setting. To me, ‘mayhem’ symbolizes rebellion, freedom and anarchy – themes that will run strong through everything we do at Sounds Of Mayhem Recordings. I can’t wait to share with you what we have in store.”
