Problem Central Announce XOYO Residency

The XOYO Residency, which first came to prominence for drum & bass heads with Andy C’s 13 week long stint back in January 2017, has become something of a badge of honour for any DJ worth their salt.

Giving artists a platform to showcase their own musical tastes over a number of weeks, the XOYO Residency is also a chance for your favourite artists to invite their favourite artists to join them during their run of shows.

XOYO has hosted residencies to iconic DJ’s such as Goldie, Calibre, Zinc, Ram Records, Artwork, Ben UFO, Dimitri From Paris & Mike Skinner (The Streets) just to name a few.

Every Friday in June, drum & bass DJ / MC combo Problem Central will be taking over this infamous underground venue located in London’s Shoreditch.

This residency is unique in the respect that it is the first to be based on MC orientated music, celebrating the art and culture which has provided the foundations and inspirations to some of the UK’s finest musical exports in recent years.

Problem Central, driven by the top flight lyrics of MC’s Eksman & Evil B along with the bass heavy sonics provided by DJ’s Majistrate & Logan D, have been a mainstay across festivals globally since their inception 5 years ago.

Evil B intimated that; “To be able to bring this back to London where our whole journey started back in the jungle days is epic… XOYO is the perfect place for Problem Central to showcase what we’re about as a collective, but also an amalgamation of music and styles in a varied supporting line up that represents our journey.”

The thoughtfully curated line up caters for all genres of drum & bass and all generations of ravers with a vast array of talent that is close to the groups hearts.

Speaking of the line up Eksman said; “To be a part of the first MC led monthly residency at XOYO is a very proud moment for us. We have called in loads of our friends, colleagues and inspirations to join us over the 4 week takeover“.

Artist performing over the 4 week run include; Amplify, Azza, Basslayerz, Brockie & Det, Carasel, DJ Hype, Ego Trippin, Fearless, Frankee D, G-Dub, Georgie Riot, Grima, Harry Shotta, Hazard, Katalyst, Kendrick, Kennith, Mickey Finn, Murdock, Natty Lou, Nu Breed Crew, Nu Elementz, Original Sin, Phantasy, Problem Central, Ragga Twins, Remarc, Shabba D, Sub Zero, TNA, Trigga, V Dubz & Westman.
