Silverworks Island Summer 2025: Four Shows That Redefined London's Dance Landscape

From Michael Bibi’s ONE LIFE to Worried About Henry and A State of Trance, Silverworks Island united 80,000 ravers across two monumental weekends in the heart of London’s Royal Docks.

When Broadwick Live launch something, they do it properly. Across two weekends in July 2025, their latest open-air venture - Silverworks Island - arrived in style at East London’s Royal Docks. What followed was a landmark moment in the capital’s music landscape, with four individually curated, genre-spanning events drawing a combined crowd of 80,000.

With the towering silhouette of Millennium Mills framing the Docklands site, Silverworks became a hub for house heads, bass lovers and trance faithful alike. Each show delivered a distinct identity, with cutting-edge production and carefully selected line-ups that defined Silverworks’ bold creative vision.

Michael Bibi’s ONE LIFE – 5 July

The season kicked off with a powerful statement as Michael Bibi returned to his hometown for a flagship edition of ONE LIFE. In front of a capacity crowd, Bibi brought his trademark Latin-tinged house and a world-exclusive three-way back-to-back set alongside Marco Carola and The Martinez Brothers.

BLOND:ISH, Chris Stussy and Ben Sterling rounded off the bill, bringing a blend of deep grooves and dancefloor flair that set the tone for the venue’s open-air launch. From start to finish, the energy was high, the sound was tight, and the Docklands skyline became the backdrop for a truly celebratory day in London’s electronic history.

Worried About Henry – 6 July

The very next day, the bass scene stepped up. Worried About Henry, known for their high-impact takeovers and loyal following, brought a thunderous three-stage showcase to Silverworks Island.

Highlights included Sub Focus and his Circular Sound experience, an immersive live show that pushed the limits of light and sound. Hybrid Minds delivered a soul-soaked sunset performance, while Hedex took over with his full-force live concept My Home is The Rave, bringing strobes, crowd interaction and an unrelenting pace.

The line-up also featured heavyweights like K-Motionz, Kings of the Rollers, and A Little Sound, making it one of the most stacked DnB line-ups in the capital this summer. The Royal Docks were shaking.

Sonny Fodera – 12 July

The second weekend began with a deep dive into house and crossover electronic sounds. Sonny Fodera delivered a main stage masterclass alongside a handpicked selection of global names.

Armand Van Helden, a true icon of the scene, dropped one of the most talked-about sets of the entire Silverworks run. His genre-spanning selections and flawless transitions created a euphoric moment that many won’t forget. Alongside him, MK, Flight Facilities, Danny Howard, Hitty, and rising Irish vocalist Jazzy (who performed live with Fodera) added variety and vibrance.

Capital Dance hosted a dedicated stage, adding to the day’s polished atmosphere and giving the crowd multiple zones to explore across the venue.

A State of Trance – 13 July

Bringing the run to a close, A State of Trance returned to London for a grand finale. Leading the charge was none other than Armin van Buuren, who guided thousands through a euphoric journey of progressive builds, peak-time drops and emotional breakdowns.

The night featured a packed line-up of trance stalwarts including Cosmic Gate, John O’Callaghan, and MaRLo, as well as the hard-hitting stylings of Ben Nicky under his Emotional Havoc banner. Rising names like Ben Hemsley and Matty Ralph brought fresh energy to the mix, ensuring the series ended with as much momentum as it began.

A New Chapter for London Music Culture

Silverworks Island is more than a new venue. It is a space that blends the raw texture of London's industrial past with the ambition of a global-facing music future. With panoramic waterside views, immersive stage design and curated production, it has already set a new standard for what outdoor events can be in the capital.

Powered by Broadwick Live, the creative team behind Printworks, The Beams and Drumsheds, the space will continue to evolve. Judging by this debut run, Silverworks Island is poised to become one of the most important cultural destinations in the UK.
