With the drop of ‘Set The Vibe ft flowanastasia’ Critical Music have announced some tantalising news. This month fans can look forward to the release ‘Repetition’- a mini album from Waeys via the mighty imprint. The Dutch producer has become a mainstay among Critical’s roster of late. His delicate attention to detail paired with his ability to bring floor shattering weight means he’s a perfect fit for the highly revered sonic aesthetic of the label. 

‘Repetition’ see’s the artist present a different side of his musicality. On this release we hear Waeys move away from his signature tech driven tearout and enter the territories of more melodic soundscapes, enlisting the expertises of some of the scenes premiere vocalists such as flowanastasia, Patch Edison and Bart de Vries.

  ‘This release is really something special to me, as it was the first time I let go of trying to write in any confines I set for myself, but instead just sat down and started writing. Not trying to push a track into a certain vibe and just seeing where the track takes me, letting that lead all the way through. It was very refreshing and most of all, a very fun experience. Very proud to release this body of work on one of my favourite labels’ – Waeys
