Resurgence return on DNBB Records with Only You EP, a striking statement of emotion and power from the Oradea-based duo of producer Cristian Lucaci and vocalist Raluca Stan. Known for their seamless blend of heartfelt songwriting and technical precision, the pair deliver four tracks that balance raw energy with refined musicality.
The title track, Only You, sets the tone with luminous synth work and Raluca’s soaring vocal presence, cutting through the mix with clarity and emotion. Layers of bright melody and tight percussion create an expansive, cinematic feel that nods to both classic liquid and modern dancefloor sensibilities. Lost Signal follows with deeper textures, its bassline rolling beneath shimmering pads and crisp drums, capturing the duo’s trademark mix of warmth and tension.
Elsewhere, Shine Through raises the intensity, fusing Cristian’s polished engineering with Raluca’s expressive vocal lines in a track built for late-night sets. The closer, Drift, rounds out the EP with a balance of drive and delicacy, its layered harmonies and subtle rhythmic shifts creating a final emotional surge.
Since forming in 2020, Resurgence have appeared on respected imprints including Fokuz Recordings, Pilot (UKF), Dirtbox Recordings, Korsakov Music and VTO, building a reputation for their ability to unite soulful songwriting and heavy club presence. With Only You EP, they continue that trajectory, pushing their sound into new, immersive territory.
