Lee UHF makes a fierce return with The End Of A Bad Day, a collaboration with long-time friend and creative ally Noise Souls, released on Imagine Audio. It’s an intense and personal moment in his journey, rooted in reflection but driven by fresh creative fire.

Atlanta-based label Imagine Audio, guided by Zak Meow, opened 2026 with its PLUR compilation, setting a tone of forward motion. This new single builds perfectly on that momentum. Lee UHF, known for his deep involvement in UK drum and bass through labels like Dirtbox Recordings, Evolution Chamber, and Neuroheadz, has always had a reputation for pushing both music and artists forward. Yet after three years away from the studio, he needed the right spark to reignite things.

That spark came in late 2025 when a chat with Nic, better known as Noise Souls, shifted everything. Lee handed over a collection of half-finished ideas; Nic refined, reshaped, and injected new energy into them. Before long, the pair found themselves knee-deep in sessions, bouncing ideas across continents and rediscovering their chemistry. The results were instant! Over twenty finished tracks and a creative rhythm neither seemed ready to slow down.

The End Of A Bad Day lands as one of the heavier moments from those sessions. It’s built around a rolling, tech-edged groove and a tight, neuro-driven low-end. Classic jungle textures weave through its layers, giving nods to the past without falling into nostalgia. There’s an urgency to it, that kind of restless energy that belongs in a late-night club, or maybe even a dark festival tent when the lights dip low and the bass starts to breathe.

Beyond its weight, there’s passion. You can hear it in the pacing, the balance between aggression and control. It’s the sound of someone who’s been away and finally found their footing again. For Imagine Audio, this track underlines the label’s sharp ear for producers who build from emotion as much as technique. For Lee and Nic, it’s not just another release, it’s a fresh start that feels earned.

The End Of A Bad Day is out on 20 February 2026 via Imagine Audio.
