Atlanta’s trailblazing imprint Imagine Audio continues its mission of amplifying diverse voices in the global drum & bass scene with a striking new release. This time, Swedish producer Levia steps up with a fearless reimagining of punk-rock powerhouse The Headlines’ track Homewrecker. Out on 10 October 2025, the remix epitomises the label’s ethos: boundary-pushing music rooted in inclusivity and cultural crossover.

Known for her hybrid approach and uncompromising energy, Levia draws on a background in guitar, live bands, and house music to fuse rock grit with the precision of drum & bass. The result is a remix that does not just nod to The Headlines’ punk fire, it detonates it in a new form. Pounding drums lock tightly against serrated guitar lines, while the bassweight drives with the urgency of a full-throttle live show. Vocals from The Headlines’ charismatic frontwoman Kerry Bomb are reframed against D&B momentum, capturing both rebellion and release.

The Headlines themselves are no strangers to high-voltage intensity. Hailing from Malmö, they have built a reputation across more than 600 shows worldwide, sharing stages with Dropkick Murphys, Millencolin, and Danko Jones. Their latest album Homewrecker, released in October 2024, marked a bold expansion of their sound. Levia’s remix honours that progression while pulling it firmly into D&B’s domain, a hybrid as restless and dynamic as the cultures it bridges.

Behind the release is Imagine Audio, the Atlanta-based label founded by Zak Meow. More than a platform, the imprint has become a community hub, spotlighting LGBTQ+ voices and artists who thrive by defying conventions.
