DJ Hazard, born Scott Molloy in 1977, is a Birmingham-based drum and bass DJ and producer known for his hard-hitting jump-up style and relentless energy. Rising to prominence under DJ Hype’s Playaz Recordings label, Hazard quickly established himself as one of the genre's leading figures. His signature track Bricks Don't Roll, released in 2014, remains one of the most iconic anthems in jump-up drum and bass.
Hazard’s breakthrough came with early tracks like Mr. Happy (with Distorted Minds) and Busted, both of which reached high positions on the UK Indie Chart. Known for his heavy basslines and unmistakable sound design, he’s been a staple at events like FabricLive's Playaz nights, where he regularly performs to sold-out crowds.
His influence extends beyond production, with his own platform, Radius Recordings, helping nurture upcoming talent. In 2017, Hazard won the Best DJ Award at the Drum and Bass Awards, ending Andy C's long-held winning streak.
