Dom & Roland

Dominic Angas, known professionally as Dom & Roland, is a seminal British drum and bass producer and DJ hailing from London. Since the mid-1990s, he has been instrumental in shaping the techstep subgenre, renowned for his cinematic soundscapes and innovative production techniques.

In 1996, Dom & Roland released his debut album, Industry, on the Moving Shadow label, which is considered a classic in the drum and bass scene. Over the years, he has produced numerous influential tracks, including Thunder, Imagination, and Can't Punish Me, each showcasing his distinctive approach to sound design and rhythm.

Throughout his career, Dom & Roland has collaborated with prominent artists such as Ed Rush, DJ Trace, and Optical, contributing significantly to the evolution of drum and bass music. His work includes co-producing and mixing seminal tracks like Subway with Ed Rush and Sonar with DJ Trace, further cementing his status within the genre.
