Dose, born Chris Truman, is a renowned drum and bass producer and DJ from Christchurch, New Zealand. Since his debut in 2006, he has established himself as one of New Zealand’s foremost solo drum and bass artists, with over 100 releases spanning vinyl and digital formats. His discography features standout tracks such as Nine Lives, Bounce Off, and What Lies Within, known for their high-energy and driving compositions.

In 2014, Dose released his debut album, Mind the Future, on Klute’s Commercial Suicide label. The album highlighted his versatility, blending deep, introspective tracks with his signature energetic style, earning him acclaim within the drum and bass community. Collaborations with artists like Trei and Menace, including tracks like Valium Express, further showcase his ability to create dynamic and compelling music alongside fellow producers.

Known for performing DJ sets composed entirely of his own material, Dose has toured extensively across New Zealand, Australia, and Europe.
