PFM

PFM, short for Progressive Future Music, is a British drum and bass project founded by Mike Bolton and Jamie Saker in the early 1990s. They are renowned for their spacious, atmospheric sound that has significantly influenced the 'intelligent' subgenre of drum and bass.

Emerging from the UK's Midlands region, PFM gained prominence through their association with LTJ Bukem's Good Looking Records. Their track One and Only is celebrated as a classic within the genre, exemplifying their ability to blend intricate melodies with deep basslines.

Over time, PFM's lineup evolved, with Jamie Saker departing the group, leaving Mike Bolton to continue the project solo. Despite these changes, PFM has maintained a consistent presence in the drum and bass scene, releasing music that resonates with both longtime fans and new listeners.
