Armada Music

Armada Music is an independent Dutch record label founded in 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron, and David Lewis. Based in Amsterdam, it has grown to become one of the largest and most influential electronic music labels in the world, encompassing a broad range of genres including trance, house, techno, melodic progressive, and drum and bass.

Although best known for its roots in trance and progressive house, Armada’s expansive catalogue has embraced a wide spectrum of electronic subgenres through its network of over 30 active sublabels. These include heavyweights like A State of Trance, Who’s Afraid of 138?!, and Future Sound of Egypt. More recently, Armada has shown an increased commitment to representing drum and bass artists through strategic signings and crossover collaborations that highlight the genre’s global appeal.

With a strong infrastructure supporting A&R, publishing, artist management, and branded events, Armada operates as a full-service music company. The label has worked with a roster of internationally recognised artists including Andrew Rayel, Gareth Emery, Loud Luxury, and DIM3NSION, while its drum and bass offerings continue to grow through fresh additions and genre-fluid releases.
