In 1993, Andy C gained widespread recognition with Valley of the Shadows (often referred to as 31 Seconds), a track produced under the alias Origin Unknown alongside Ant Miles. The song became an iconic anthem of early drum and bass, celebrated for its deep basslines and haunting atmosphere. Known for his signature baseball cap and energetic stage presence, Andy C quickly became a standout figure in the emerging drum and bass scene.
In 2001, Andy C collaborated with Shimon on the track Body Rock, which reached number 28 on the UK Singles Chart. Despite polarising some fans with its unconventional swing rhythm and synth leads, the track remains one of the most recognisable drum and bass songs of the era.

Renowned for his fast-paced DJing style, Andy C is celebrated for his "Double Drop" technique, where two basslines are precisely synchronised to drop simultaneously. He often performs marathon DJ sets, including his legendary All Night sessions, which have sold out venues like Wembley Arena and Alexandra Palace.
In 2012, Andy C introduced Andy C Alive, a groundbreaking audio-visual experience combining custom software, visuals, and live DJing, pushing the boundaries of live drum and bass performances.
Throughout his career, Andy C has received numerous accolades, including multiple Best DJ titles at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards and the Ambassador of Bass Music award at the Bass Music Awards in 2013. In 2018, he became the first drum and bass artist to sell out Wembley Arena, achieving this milestone in just three days.
