Technimatic, the duo of Pete Rogers (Technicolour) and Andy Powell (Komatic), are celebrated for their rich, emotive, and melodic approach to drum and bass. Formed in 2008, they initially made waves with their track Preacher on Worldwide Audio, showcasing their signature liquid-infused sound. Their talent led to releases on labels such as Critical, Hospital, and Good Looking Records, including a remix of LTJ Bukem's Music.
Signed exclusively to Shogun Audio’s SGN:LTD in 2012, Technimatic gained attention with their acclaimed Intersection EP. Their track Bristol, featured on Way of the Warrior Pt.2, received airplay from BBC Radio 1’s Mistajam and BBC 6Music’s Gilles Peterson, solidifying their status in the scene.
In 2014, Technimatic released their debut album Desire Paths, a beautifully crafted LP celebrated by critics and fans alike. Supported by major names like Friction, Annie Mac, and Rob Da Bank, the album earned accolades from Mixmag and Resident Advisor. Following this success, their Flashbulb EP in 2015 further showcased their evolving artistry.
Known for their captivating DJ sets and masterful production, Technimatic continues to push boundaries in drum and bass, blending lush soundscapes with dancefloor energy, and leaving an indelible mark on the genre.
