Dirtyphonics is a French electronic music group formed in 2004, known for their fusion of drum and bass, dubstep, and drumstep. Initially comprising Charly, Thomas Desbouvrie, and Pho, the group was later joined by PitchIn in 2008. Their debut single French Fk on AudioPorn Records topped Beatport charts, establishing them as innovators in the bass music scene.
In 2013, Dirtyphonics released their debut album Irreverence, blending drum and bass, dubstep, and electro, with standout tracks like Dirty and Walk In The Fire. This release solidified their reputation for high-energy sound design and genre-blurring creativity.
The group has collaborated with renowned artists such as Skrillex, Steve Aoki, Linkin Park, and Marilyn Manson, producing remixes and original tracks that gained international recognition. They’ve performed at major festivals, including Tomorrowland, Glastonbury, and Electric Daisy Carnival.
Despite lineup changes over the years, with Thomas departing in 2013, Dirtyphonics continues to push boundaries in electronic music. Their relentless touring schedule and innovative approach to production have earned them a dedicated global fanbase.
