Modestep began as a groundbreaking electronic rock and dubstep band in 2010, founded by brothers Josh and Tony Friend in London. Their debut album, Evolution Theory, released in 2013, featured iconic singles such as Sunlight and Feel Good, which became festival anthems and showcased the band's innovative fusion of aggressive basslines with melodic vocals.
Over the years, Modestep underwent several lineup changes, with Josh Friend eventually becoming the sole remaining member.
