Sigma is a British drum and bass duo consisting of Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie. The pair met while studying at Leeds University and quickly bonded over their shared passion for drum and bass music. After forming Sigma in the mid-2000s, they began making waves in the UK drum and bass scene with their energetic productions and distinctive sound.
Sigma gained significant attention with their early releases on prominent drum and bass labels, including Breakbeat Kaos and Hospital Records. However, their breakthrough came in 2014 with the release of their hit single "Nobody to Love," a rework of Kanye West's "Bound 2." The track topped the UK Singles Chart and earned widespread acclaim, solidifying Sigma's status as mainstream hitmakers.
Following the success of "Nobody to Love," Sigma released another chart-topping single, "Changing," featuring Paloma Faith. The track further showcased their ability to blend euphoric melodies with powerful drum and bass rhythms, earning them critical and commercial success.
