Mystical Waves Recordings
Mystical Waves Recordings, established in 2008, is a leading Czech drum and bass record label that is deeply rooted in the psychedelic movement. The label’s objective is to promote Czech and Slovakia's local drum and bass talent, as well as international artists. Founded by DJ and producer Cuker, Mystical Waves Recordings is known for its eclectic fusion of atmospheric beats and soulful melodies, often incorporating psychedelic influences for a sound that is uniquely their own.
Notable releases from this avant-garde label include its debut album “Various Artists - MSTCLWV001” in 2009, followed by “Entita – Can’t Wait” in 2016. Their most recent release greets us from a Slovakian artist, Bukez Finezt, with the track "Raggamuffin Style” in 2021.
The label also organizes music events including the annual Mystical Waves Festival, providing a platform for the drum and bass community to come together and share their passion for the genre. Despite its modest size, Mystical Waves Recordings has carved out a significant niche within the drum and bass scene, becoming a beacon of inspiration for emerging artists in the genre.
