Thread The Needle opens with brass stabs, wah-wah guitar flickers and a bassline that leans into 70s disco-funk swagger before the drums take hold. There is a clear Shaft-style energy in the setup, but it is handled with enough lightness to keep it moving rather than feeling like pastiche.
When the drop lands, Hoax and So What keep the pressure rolling without crowding the mix. The drums sit loose and satisfying, giving Dynamite MC enough space to work the vocal while the brass hits and flute runs keep flashing through the arrangement. It is a tune built around movement, not brute force.
Dynamite MC brings the right kind of presence: playful, sharp, and locked into the groove. His vocal gives the track personality without pulling it away from the dancefloor, which suits the Forza Horizon 6: Hospital Soundtrack context nicely. It feels fast, bright and built for motion.
Released on Hospital Records, Thread The Needle works because it does not take itself too seriously. The funk details give it colour, the drums keep it useful, and the whole thing rolls with enough charm to sit comfortably in a radio show, a festival set, or a lively club mix.
