MEL is a British drum and bass DJ and producer known for her electrifying energy, dark-edged productions, and high-impact sets. She began her musical journey in 2011 as a rock and metal DJ in Camden, before transitioning into drum and bass—a genre that matched her passion for intensity and power.

Her production work has been featured on some of the scene’s most respected labels, including RAM Records, UKF, DeVice, and Viper. Her debut EP Underworld, released on DeVice, established her as a serious force in the studio, combining dancefloor energy with heavy, cinematic sound design.

MEL is also an established radio host, having previously held a residency with Data Transmission before securing a prime monthly slot on Kool FM. In 2024, she joined Rinse FM, continuing to showcase her deep knowledge of the genre across live broadcasts and guest mixes.

With performances at Rampage, Let It Roll, Blackout, and BBC Radio 1 under her belt, MEL has proven herself on some of the biggest platforms in drum and bass. Known for her versatility behind the decks—blending dancefloor staples, neurofunk pressure, and darker experimental textures—she remains one of the most exciting names pushing the sound forward.
