Sub:liminal, a Romanian drum and bass producer and DJ from Oradea, has been captivating audiences with his evocative soundscapes since the early 2020s. His journey into music began with the guitar at a young age, but his discovery of drum and bass in 2008 led to a lifelong passion for the genre. By 2017, Sub:liminal had already begun revitalising his local scene by launching the Apple Room Drum&Bass series at Moszkva Cafe.

Renowned for his versatility, Sub:liminal has released music on respected labels such as Fokuz Recordings, Pilot Records, Galacy Records, Four Corners Music, and Vandal Records. Tracks like those from the Perspectives EP have demonstrated his ability to blend liquid drum and bass with darker, more experimental sounds. His music has earned support from iconic names in the industry, including London Elektricity, High Contrast, and Doc Scott.

A pivotal moment in his career came with the release of Perspectives on Four Corners Music in 2024, showcasing a deeper and more minimalistic approach to his craft.
