Enei, born Alexey Egorchenkov in St. Petersburg, Russia, is a leading figure in the underground drum and bass scene. His career began in the early 2000s, with breakthrough releases on labels like Fokuz, Cyanide, and Citrus. His talent caught the attention of Kasra, leading to an exclusive signing with Critical Music in 2011.

Enei's debut album Machines in 2012 showcased his deep, tech-driven style, earning widespread acclaim and support from heavyweights like Andy C, Goldie, and London Elektricity. Subsequent releases, including the Liberation EP and Rituals, further solidified his status as a master of atmospheric yet hard-hitting drum and bass.

Known for collaborations with Kasra and vocalists like T-Man and Jakes, Enei consistently delivers genre-defining tracks. His third album Humans, released a decade after his debut LP, reflects his continued evolution as a producer.
