Subwave, born Gleb Soloviev in Moscow, Russia, is a distinguished figure in the drum and bass scene, known for his innovative productions and contributions to the genre's evolution. Their early work garnered attention with the release of Bad Ambitions / Digital Symphony on Tech Itch Recordings in 2001, marking Subwave's entry into the international drum and bass community.

He played a pivotal role in bringing the first "Hospitality" night to Russia in 2006 and co-promoted the "Refreshed" night at Moscow's Propaganda nightclub.
