Subwave, born Gleb Soloviev in Moscow, Russia, is a distinguished figure in the drum and bass scene, known for his innovative productions and contributions to the genre's evolution. He began his musical journey over two decades ago, initially collaborating with Alexander Rotov. Their early work garnered attention with the release of Bad Ambitions / Digital Symphony on Tech Itch Recordings in 2001, marking Subwave's entry into the international drum and bass community.

Throughout his career, Subwave has showcased versatility by exploring various styles within drum and bass. His discography includes releases on esteemed labels such as Metalheadz, Hospital Records, and Shogun Audio. Notable tracks like Think and Road Rage highlight his ability to blend minimalistic elements with dancefloor appeal, earning support from prominent figures like Goldie and London Elektricity.

Beyond production, Subwave has made significant contributions as a DJ and promoter. He played a pivotal role in bringing the first "Hospitality" night to Russia in 2006 and co-promoted the "Refreshed" night at Moscow's Propaganda nightclub. His DJ sets have resonated with audiences across Russia and Europe, further establishing his reputation in the global drum and bass scene.

In recent years, Subwave has continued to innovate, collaborating with artists like Bop on projects that push the boundaries of the genre.
