Dan Gresham, known professionally as Nu:Tone, is a celebrated British drum and bass producer from Cambridge, renowned for his soulful liquid funk sound. Signed to Hospital Records in 2003, he released his debut album Brave Nu World in 2005, followed by Back of Beyond, Words and Pictures, Future History, and Little Spaces. His tracks, including Millie’s Theme and Shine In (featuring Natalie Williams), have become iconic within the genre.
Nu:Tone is also one half of Nu:Logic, a collaborative project with his brother Matt Gresham (Logistics). Together, they’ve delivered standout releases blending emotive melodies and intricate drum programming. His remixes for artists like London Elektricity and Roni Size have further cemented his reputation as a versatile producer.
With a career spanning over two decades, Nu:Tone remains a cornerstone of the liquid drum and bass movement, consistently delivering music that resonates deeply with fans and DJs worldwide.
