As December approaches and dancefloors fill with festive energy, Trigga Fingaz Records delivers a seasonal statement with Christmas Cracka EP, a four-track collection that embodies the label’s raw and spirited ethos. Out on 19 December, the project unites Revalation, JJAMES, Filthy Philp and JD Nobody for a festive journey built on pure drum and bass energy.
Opening with Fiya Burnin, Revalation sets the tone through a dub-infused jungle workout rich in rolling breaks and warm bass pressure. Drawing on reggae and sound system culture, the track connects body and mind, honouring jungle tradition while keeping the dancefloor alight.
JJAMES steps up with Me Gusta, a bold jump-up roller driven by a cheeky Spanish vocal hook. It’s playful, unpredictable and made for pure dancefloor impact, bringing wild festive energy to the mix. “I just made a silly banger,” JJAMES says, perfectly summing up its mischievous charm.
Resurrecta from Filthy Philp follows with darker intent, blending sharp breaks and rugged low-end textures. The UK-born, Brisbane-based producer channels underground authenticity and rhythmic power, locking into a sound that feels both classic and cutting edge.
Closing the EP, JD Nobody delivers Long Way Back, a cinematic roller that contrasts emotion and atmosphere. Its melodic flow and rolling percussion capture the quiet moments after the rave, offering reflection amid the chaos.
Across four distinct tracks, Christmas Cracka EP captures the diversity and unity of the Trigga Fingaz Records roster. Jungle roots, jump-up flair, dub warmth and introspective depth come together to form a cohesive, high-energy release built equally for ravers and selectors. No sleigh bells, just bassweight and celebration.
