Burr Oak

Burr Oak is a French drum and bass duo formed by producers The Clamps (Julien Carbou) and Opsen (Nicolas). Both artists had established careers before combining their talents, with The Clamps known for his aggressive neurofunk style and Opsen previously part of the production outfit Signs. Their collaboration has resulted in a unique sound that blends intricate sound design with heavy basslines.

Since their formation, Burr Oak has released music on several prominent labels, including Trendkill Records, Eatbrain, and Cause4Concern. Their tracks are characterized by dense and complex arrangements, showcasing their emphasis on production techniques and sound design.
