E-Z Rollers are a British drum and bass group formed in 1995 in Suffolk, England, comprising Jay Hurren, Alex Banks, and vocalist Kelly Richards. Their sound blends jazz, funk, and hip-hop influences with crisp drum and bass rhythms, making them a standout act in the genre.
Their debut album, Dimensions of Sound (1996), marked the beginning of a successful career, followed by the critically acclaimed Weekend World (1998), which featured the iconic track Walk This Land. The track gained widespread recognition after its inclusion in the soundtrack of the film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, propelling the group into the mainstream spotlight.
Over the years, E-Z Rollers have continued to release influential music, including albums such as Titles of the Unexpected (2002) and Conductor (2007). Their track Short Change featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto 2, while Soundclash was part of the Rollcage soundtrack, further embedding their music into popular culture.
