Rolling breaks, a firm sub line and just enough space around Chris Nichols' vocal give In The Jungle plenty of room to breathe. Rather than forcing the hook to the front, Canis X Sirius let the groove settle first, making the vocal feel like part of the rhythm instead of sitting above it.
There's a nice sense of balance throughout. The drums stay crisp without becoming overbearing, the bass carries plenty of weight without clouding the mix, and the arrangement keeps introducing small changes that maintain momentum. It feels built for longer blends, with enough musicality to stand on its own away from the dancefloor.
Leading Last Days Of Disco Part 3, the track arrives alongside collaborations with MC Reeality and Twilight to complete Canis X Sirius' trilogy for Dirtbox Recordings. While each cut brings its own character, In The Jungle sets the tone with a measured combination of warmth, weight and control.
Last Days Of Disco Part 3 is available exclusively via Beatport and Spotify from 10 July before its full worldwide release on 24 July.
