Zombie Cats return to Dispatch Recordings with the first sampler from their forthcoming remix project Tech Dreams | The Remixes. The release pairs the Austrian duo with T>I and hands remix duties to Prague-based producer Magenta, whose meticulous production style has made him a fixture in Europe’s tougher, tech-driven corners of drum and bass. Out on 10 November 2025 via Beatport and 24 November across all other platforms, Search and Destroy (Magenta Remix) sets a formidable tone for what follows.

The original Search and Destroy was already a precision weapon, full of tension, groove, and tightly wound aggression. Magenta does not soften its impact; he sharpens it. The remix opens with cold metallic pads and rising atmospherics before descending into a focused barrage of sub-weight and biting mid-range movement. The drums hit with clarity and intent, each snare cutting cleanly through layers of rumbling low-end and serrated synth energy. This is Magenta in full control of the sound system, balancing menace with finesse.

There is a mechanical precision to his approach, yet it never feels sterile. Magenta channels that unmistakable Dispatch energy, a sound that thrives in dark rooms and late-night settings. The drop lands like a pressure release, propelling the tune forward with relentless drive while maintaining the track’s industrial edge. Subtle effects ripple across the stereo field, giving the remix an immersive depth that rewards close listening as much as it devastates on the dancefloor.

As a reinterpretation, it achieves an impressive balance between homage and evolution. Magenta honours the core of Zombie Cats and T>I’s original but injects his own identity into every phrase. The low-end design is unmistakably his, as is the spatial precision and rolling momentum. It is the kind of remix that instantly earns a place in a peak-time set: functional, punishing, and musically aware.

With Tech Dreams | The Remixes unfolding across several samplers, this first instalment makes the statement clear. Magenta leads with purpose, setting the tone for one of the year’s most forward-thinking projects from Dispatch Recordings.
