DBZ is an Australian drum and bass trio formed by three long-time artists working together around a shared interest in underground club music and collaborative production. The project brings together different backgrounds and influences under one identity, with a focus on darker atmosphere, energetic grooves, and detailed low-end pressure.
The group includes AntTC1 alongside two additional members, combining years of individual experience into a more unified studio approach. Their sound pulls from multiple corners of drum and bass rather than sitting rigidly inside one lane, drawing influence from heavier underground styles while still leaving room for melody, tension, and groove.
DBZ’s productions are built with dancefloor function in mind, balancing weight and movement with cleaner arrangement choices that allow the tracks space to breathe inside a mix. That approach has helped shape the group’s early material, including releases connected to Dispatch Recordings.
Still relatively early into the project itself, DBZ continues to develop its sound through close collaborative writing and a shared interest in underground drum and bass culture.
