To avoid confusion with another artist of the same name, he adopted the moniker J Majik in 1994, marking the beginning of a prolific period in his musical journey.
In the mid-1990s, J Majik became associated with prominent labels such as Suburban Base Records and Metalheadz, contributing significantly to the drum and bass scene.
