Paul Biegel, better known by his stage name Paul SG, is an Austrian drum and bass producer whose rich musical background and diverse influences have made him a respected figure in the global drum and bass community. Born into a musical family, Paul’s early exposure to a variety of genres, including jazz, funk, and classical music, significantly shaped his approach to production. His father, a talented flautist, encouraged Paul’s exploration of music from a young age, fostering a deep connection to rhythm and melody. A self-taught drummer, Paul began experimenting with beats during his childhood, later expanding his musical education to include music production and sound engineering.
