Physics is the drum and bass alias of Glenn Grip, a Helsinki-based DJ, producer, and label founder active since 1998. Known for deep, soulful, and atmospheric drum and bass, his music often centres on rolling basslines, detailed break work, and a warm, understated sense of movement.
As the founder of Midnight Sun Recordings, Physics has played a long-running role in Finland’s drum and bass scene while also releasing music internationally. His catalogue includes releases on labels including Metalheadz, Hospital Records, Liquid V, and Fokuz Recordings.
Tracks such as In Motion, Invisible Line, and Devotion reflect his focus on musical depth, atmosphere, and dancefloor movement without losing the soulful character that runs through much of his work.
Alongside production, Physics has remained active through DJ sets, radio, local events, and label activity, helping maintain a visible presence for deeper drum and bass in Helsinki and beyond.
