The Ganja Kru, a trailblazing drum and bass supergroup, was formed in the mid-1990s by DJ Hype, DJ Zinc, and Pascal, three of the genre's most influential figures. Emerging from the UK’s vibrant jungle scene, the trio became synonymous with high-energy productions and groundbreaking contributions that shaped the evolution of drum and bass. Their collaborative work combined diverse influences, blending heavy basslines, intricate breakbeats, and an infectious sense of fun.

The Ganja Kru made their mark with a string of iconic releases on the legendary Ganja Records label, including their debut EP Super Sharp Shooter (1996).
