Impish

Impish, born Roman Impish, is a Moscow-based drum and bass producer and DJ who has been active in the scene since 2008. Initially influenced by funk, rock, and heavy metal, he transitioned to electronic music, captivated by the autonomy it offered in music production. This shift allowed him to craft a distinctive sound that blends live instrumentation with electronic elements, reflecting his diverse musical background.

In 2011, Impish founded Occulti Music, a label dedicated to releasing quality drum and bass tracks with hypnotic vibes. Occulti Music also runs 'Burning Series' – a monthly D&B / Breakbeat night famous since 2003 in Russia for its homely atmosphere and vinyl sets. Through this platform, he has not only showcased his own productions but also supported emerging artists, contributing to the growth of the drum and bass community. His commitment to quality and hypnotic vibes has established Occulti Music as a respected imprint within the genre.

Impish's discography includes releases on esteemed labels such as Hospital Records, RAM Records, and CIA.
