Loz Contreras, born Lawrence Elias Contreras in Harrogate, UK, is a prominent drum and bass DJ and producer based in Leeds. Specialising in liquid funk, he has been an influential figure in the genre since the early 2010s. His music seamlessly blends soulful melodies with dynamic rhythms, reflecting his deep appreciation for soul, disco, house, hip hop, and R&B.

Throughout his career, Loz has released music on esteemed labels such as Fokuz Recordings and Liquicity. Notable tracks include Baby It's You and Sarajevo, which have garnered significant attention within the drum and bass community.
