One Hat Man is the alias of Malk, a Spanish drum and bass producer whose journey in electronic music spans back to the 1990s. Immersed in the underground dance culture of that decade, he found his footing in warehouses and abandoned buildings where house, trance, and jungle soundtracked formative experiences. These early influences provided the foundation for his later focus on atmospheric and cinematic drum and bass.

As One Hat Man, Malk has carved out a distinctive niche within the liquid sub-style, producing tracks that are both emotive and immersive. His music often balances fluid, rolling rhythms with deep ambience and subtle vocal elements, creating a soundscape that is as suited to reflective listening as it is to the dancefloor.
