Known for blending DnB tempos with rich melodies and emotionally charged songwriting, his work draws comparisons to electronic tastemakers like Bonobo and Maribou State, while remaining firmly rooted in club culture.
His breakout moment came with Messy in Heaven, a Platinum-certified collaboration with Venbee that peaked at #3 in the UK singles chart and earned a BRIT nomination for Song of the Year in 2024. Alongside official remixes for artists such as Cat Burns and Sub Focus, goddard. has also become a go-to name for crossover hits that still carry depth and weight.
Raised in Kettering, his journey began after attending his first rave at just 16, a Hospitality event that set the tone for everything to come. From early experiments on a MIDI controller to studying production in London and Manchester, he immersed himself in the full spectrum of electronic music, drawing inspiration from house, techno and bassline as much as from drum and bass.
His 2020 releases with DnB Allstars saw his profile explode, leading to appearances at Printworks, Warehouse Project, and a major tour supporting Sub Focus in New Zealand.
