Hospitality returns to Bristol’s Harbourside for 30th anniversary showcase
Hospital Records celebrates 30 years with HOSPITAL30 ON THE HARBOUR, an open-air Bristol spectacular featuring Hybrid Minds, High Contrast, DJ Marky, London Elektricity, and more.
Hospitality returns to Bristol this summer for a landmark open-air celebration marking three decades of Hospital Records. On Saturday 25 July 2026, the iconic Lloyds Amphitheatre will host HOSPITAL30 ON THE HARBOUR – a one-day festival uniting fans, artists, and the city’s long-running love affair with drum & bass.
A Bristol summer centrepiece
Taking place as part of the Siren Bristol summer series, HOSPITAL30 ON THE HARBOUR follows The Maccabees’ sold-out return and precedes another major announcement still to come. It highlights the city’s continued role as a hub for world-class live music, where drum & bass stands alongside indie, electronic and experimental sounds. The Harbourside’s open-air setting, framed by the waterfront and the energy of the city centre, remains one of the UK’s most atmospheric backdrops for large-scale events.
This marks the first time in more than a year that Hospitality has returned to Bristol’s waterfront, following three consecutive sell-out shows in the city. The anticipation reflects both the enduring appeal of the label’s events and the special connection Bristol holds to the genre’s story.
A lineup built for summer
The main stage will feature standout performances from Hybrid Minds, High Contrast, Metrik, DJ Marky, Lens, Bryan Gee, London Elektricity and Makoto – a lineup that spans both classic and contemporary drum & bass. Vocalists and hosts including Dynamite, Ayah Marar, Texas, Ruthless and PVC will keep the energy high from start to finish.
Area 2 will bring a more intimate atmosphere under the banner of Nu:Tone’s The Deep End, a space dedicated to the deeper side of the sound. It’s a place for crate diggers and newcomers alike to explore the subtler shades of drum & bass. Sets from London Elektricity, Bryan Gee, Makoto and Winslow will provide an immersive journey through the genre’s many moods.
30 years of Hospital Records
Founded in 1996 by Tony Colman and Chris Goss, Hospital Records has become one of the world’s most respected independent drum & bass labels. Its output has shaped the genre’s global identity – from early releases by High Contrast and London Elektricity to new-generation talents like Fred V and Lens. The label’s consistency, sense of community and commitment to craft have made it a cornerstone for both fans and artists.
Through its flagship live brand, Hospitality, the label redefined how drum & bass is experienced. From intimate club nights to major outdoor gatherings, Hospitality events are known for meticulous production, positive energy and a welcoming spirit. The Bristol edition joins flagship celebrations in London, Prague and beyond as part of Hospital’s global 30th anniversary series.
A day built for the heads and the heart
Beyond the music, the festival site will feature street-food vendors, chill-out spaces and pop-up stalls including the official Hospital Shop. Every detail reflects the brand’s inclusive, community-led atmosphere. Whether you were there for the early Hospitality nights at Herbal or have only just joined the journey, HOSPITAL30 ON THE HARBOUR promises a day that connects generations through sound.
Partnering once again with The Blast, long-time collaborators in Bristol’s bass culture, Hospitality’s return to the Harbourside unites two of the city’s most influential forces. Expect top-tier production, a heavy sound system and a day that feels as much a celebration of Bristol as of the label itself.
Bristol, the drum & bass capital
Few cities embody the heartbeat of drum & bass like Bristol. From its underground roots to global influence, its venues, collectives and communities have played a defining role in the genre’s evolution. HOSPITAL30 ON THE HARBOUR not only celebrates Hospital Records’ 30-year journey but also reaffirms Bristol’s enduring place at the centre of UK bass culture. As the sun sets over the Lloyds Amphitheatre and thousands move in unison, it’s a snapshot of how vibrant and united the scene remains.
