Thirty Years of Hospital: Hospitality on the Beach 2026 Marks a Drum & Bass Milestone

Celebrating 30 years of Hospital Records, Hospitality on the Beach 2026 unites the global drum & bass family in Croatia for a week of sunshine, sound and connection.

As the sun dips behind the Dalmatian hills and the Adriatic turns gold, one of drum and bass’s most cherished gatherings prepares for its defining moment. Hospitality on the Beach 2026 will not only return to Croatia’s Garden Resort from 1 to 6 July 2026 but will stand as the centrepiece of Hospital Records’ 30th anniversary celebrations. It promises to be a landmark occasion for one of the most influential independent labels in electronic music.

The Adriatic home of drum & bass

Since its debut in 2018, Hospitality on the Beach has redefined what a drum and bass festival can be. Set against the idyllic backdrop of Tisno’s private beach and pine-dotted landscape, it has become a pilgrimage for the global D&B community. Fans from the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand return each year for five days of music, connection and Mediterranean serenity.

This year, the event carries an even greater resonance. Thirty years on from Hospital’s beginnings in South London, the label’s ethos of positivity, inclusivity and sonic innovation finds its most vivid expression in this coastal celebration. The festival’s official announcement describes the 2026 edition as its “most ambitious and carefully curated lineup yet”, and with more than one hundred artists across five bespoke stages, that’s no exaggeration.

A world-class lineup

Headlining the anniversary edition are a collection of acts who define the modern era of drum and bass. The heavyweight bill includes Sub Focus, Andy C, Kings Of The Rollers, Metrik, A.M.C, Calibre, Dillinja, Flava D and Lens, each bringing their signature energy to the Adriatic coast.

Supporting them is a world-class cast that spans every corner of the genre. From the liquid sophistication of Fred V and Pola & Bryson, to the raw intensity of DJ Hazard, Simula and Voltage, the lineup represents the full spectrum of drum and bass. The legendary Ed Rush & Optical bring their pioneering Virus sound, while Fabio & Grooverider honour their legacy as the genre’s founding architects.

Stages, sound and setting

Five uniquely designed stages will host the 2026 edition: The Beach Stage, The Garden Stage, Olive Grove, Wabi Sabi and The Pier. Each has its own character, from open-air daytime sessions under the Croatian sun to nocturnal explorations beneath star-filled skies. The sound design and production, tailored by Hospital’s long-term creative team, ensure clarity and warmth across every set, from sunrise liquid to deep jungle workouts at dusk.

The festival’s famed boat parties and Barbarella’s after-hours sessions return too, each curated by leading D&B brands. Highlights include an archival showcase from Calibre’s Shelflife series, a nostalgia trip through the genre’s golden era with DNB Classics, and a hard-edged neuro selection from Virus x Darkshire. Each partnership contributes to a five-day programme that balances intensity with intimacy, a rare achievement for a global event of this scale.

Community and culture

At its heart, Hospitality on the Beach has always been about community. “It’s more than a festival; it’s a family holiday for drum and bass heads,” one organiser noted in a verified statement. That spirit is visible everywhere, from morning yoga sessions to the daily run club, spontaneous beach meet-ups and the laughter echoing between olive trees. The festival’s inclusive energy mirrors the Hospital ethos that has guided the label since its founding: music as medicine, dance as connection.

The location itself amplifies that connection. The Garden Resort has a natural beauty that blends a private beach, crystal-clear waters and a walkable site framed by fig and pine trees. It creates a uniquely laid-back rhythm. Unlike most large-scale festivals, Hospitality on the Beach encourages its audience to set their own pace: rave when the moment calls, relax when it doesn’t. That freedom is integral to its identity, merging hedonism and mindfulness into one seamless experience.

Hospital at 30

The 2026 edition coincides with a milestone few independent labels reach: three decades of Hospital Records. Founded in 1996 by Tony Colman and Chris Goss, the imprint has nurtured generations of artists, from early pioneers like High Contrast and London Elektricity to contemporary torchbearers such as Flava D and Lens and Fred V. Its legacy extends beyond music into events, education and global community-building.

For many, Hospitality on the Beach has become the living embodiment of that ethos: independent, inclusive and endlessly creative. The 2026 festival will see HOSPITAL30 come to life through exclusive sets, collaborative performances and retrospective moments celebrating the label’s history. Expect surprises too, with special guests, commemorative merchandise and unique stage takeovers that nod to the label’s past, present and future.

A refined format for a new era

Hospitality’s team has responded to community feedback by refining the 2026 edition into a focused five-day format. The aim is to enhance quality, affordability and travel ease without compromising the experience. Each day has been curated for flow, ensuring every stage and set has room to breathe. It’s a confident step that reflects both maturity and trust: the festival knows what works and what makes it special.

That balance between growth and authenticity is key to its longevity. In an era where many festivals chase scale, Hospitality continues to prioritise soul. It’s no coincidence that early demand for 2026 has already surpassed previous years. Tickets are now on final release at £250 plus booking fee, available via Skiddle, with deposits from just £25.

The Beach Club and beyond

New for 2026 is The Beach Club, a loyalty initiative designed to deepen community ties. Open to anyone who has attended Hospitality on the Beach before, it offers exclusive rewards, ticket access and an invitation-only pre-party. It’s a subtle yet meaningful evolution, turning returning fans into part of the festival’s identity and reinforcing the sense that every attendee contributes to its story.

Beyond the festival gates, Tisno itself remains an essential part of that story. The town’s narrow streets, friendly tavernas and sea-view cafés make it an integral extension of the festival. Many visitors stay in local apartments, beachside glamping or peaceful forest camping, extending the experience into a full week-long escape.

A global family reunion

In many ways, Hospitality on the Beach 2026 is less a singular event than a global reunion. It gathers everyone from scene veterans to newcomers, DJs to dancers, producers to fans. It’s a reminder that drum and bass, born in small London clubs and pirate radio studios, has evolved into an international language of rhythm and emotion. That it continues to grow after three decades is testament to the passion of its community.

As Hospital Records looks ahead to its next chapter, this anniversary edition stands as both a reflection and a renewal. It honours what came before while embracing what lies ahead: new artists, new sounds and new memories forged in the heat of the Croatian sun.
